BPSC Auditor Mains 2026: Apply Online for 102 Posts by November 16

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has started the online application process for the Auditor Main Examination 2026. Candidates who qualified in the preliminary examination can submit their forms from 29 October to 16 November 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill 102 Auditor vacancies under Advertisement No. 09/2026. Eligible candidates must complete the application process through the commission’s official website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in, within the prescribed deadline.

This is an important update for candidates preparing for government jobs in Bihar, particularly those who have already cleared the Auditor preliminary examination. The Main Examination is the next major stage of the recruitment process, and applicants should carefully check the examination pattern, required documents and application instructions before submitting their forms. Missing the deadline or making errors during registration could affect a candidate’s chance of progressing to the next stage.

The recruitment is being conducted for the Auditor post under the Bihar Panchayat Audit Service in the state’s Panchayati Raj Department. According to the recruitment update, 1,248 candidates who qualified in the preliminary examination held on 5 July 2026 are eligible to apply for the Main Examination. Therefore, this is not a fresh application opportunity for all candidates; only those who cleared the preliminary test under the relevant advertisement can proceed.

The Main Examination will consist of four descriptive papers. These include General Hindi, General Studies Paper I, General Studies Paper II and one optional subject. General Hindi carries 100 marks, while each of the remaining three papers carries 300 marks. Candidates will get three hours for each paper. The available optional subjects include Commerce, Economics, Mathematics and Statistics.

After the written examination, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview as part of the selection process. Applicants should prepare according to the prescribed syllabus and keep checking the commission’s website for updates about the examination schedule and further instructions.

Candidates should keep their educational certificates, graduation documents, relevant professional qualifications, category certificates where applicable, photograph, signature and a copy of the online application form ready. The notification also mentions documents such as MBA, CA, ICWA or CS certificates, wherever relevant to the candidate’s eligibility. Applicants must ensure that the information entered in the form matches their official records.

To apply, eligible candidates should visit the BPSC website at https://bpsc.bihar.gov.in/ and open the Auditor Main Examination 2026 application link. They should log in using their registration details, complete the remaining required information, select their optional subject and submit the form according to the official instructions. Candidates are advised to review every entry before final submission and retain a copy for future reference.

The last date to submit the BPSC Auditor Mains 2026 application is 16 November 2026. Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary examination should avoid waiting until the final day and complete the process well before the deadline.
